XNRGY is seeking a qualified Sales Application Engineer to join its team located in Arizona. Reporting to VP of Mission Critical, you will be a crucial member of the sales team combining your technical expertise with sales acumen to drive the company's growth.


An overview of your responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients in the HVAC industry
  • Respond to customer inquiries, providing product information, pricing, and technical support
  • Design and prepare technical data including dimensional drawings
  • Create proposals and corresponding bid documents
  • Contribute to the development of Sales Tools
  • Organize customer factory visits/witness testing and coordinate with other departments
  • Assist in the preparation of documents and technical presentations to support the sales team
  • Prepare documentation for a bid process
  • Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to create customized solutions for clients
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals to clients
  • Conduct market research to identify new sales opportunities and stay informed about industry trends
  • Maintain accurate records of channel sales activities, customer interactions, and follow-ups in the CRM system
  • Prepare CRM reports on territorial activities and bid prospects
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and contribute to overall team success
  • Participate in trade shows, training, and industry events to promote products and network with potential clients

What you'll need, among other things.

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, aerospace or chemical engineering or other related fields
  • Minimum 3 years experience in systems design or HVAC equipment sales
  • Proactive team player with a sense of responsibility and capable to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Capacity to apply and maintain administrative processes to improve company overall effectiveness
  • Effective problem-solving skills and being initiative with the ability to work effectively when managing multiple tasks
  • Computer knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD is an asset
  • Excellent organization and communication skill
  • Able to travel occasionally across North America
