POSITION SUMMARY As a vital member of our sales team, you will foster strong customer relationships in a dynamic team-based environment. This role involves managing order deliveries, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Develop and maintain relationships with customers, leveraging a team-based selling model.
- Ensure delivery schedules are adhered to while problem-solving any issues that may arise during the order process.
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding accounts receivable and collaborate with the credit department.
- Identify new business opportunities through market intelligence and networking.
- Stay informed about market conditions, product innovations, and competitive landscape to provide valuable insights to customers.
- Travel to meet existing and potential customers, safely delivering products while fulfilling physical requirements of the role.
COLLABORATION You will work closely with internal teams including the District Sales Manager, Regional Sales Manager, and various departments to ensure seamless customer interactions.
WORK ENVIRONMENT This role requires frequent field visits in various weather conditions.
REQUIREMENTS - Preferred 1+ years of sales experience, particularly in the foodservice or hospitality sector.
- Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with CRM tools such as Salesforce.
- A valid driver's license with a good motor vehicle record is required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS Regular activities include standing, walking, lifting (up to 75 lbs), and driving. Must be comfortable performing physical tasks as needed.
COMPENSATION Salary range is between $50,000 and $90,000, with eligibility for incentive pay. Benefits include health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and more.
