We are seeking an experienced and results-driven
Heat Exchanger Sales and Service Manager to lead and support both our sales and repair operations. This role is critical in maintaining strong customer relationships, managing vendor partnerships, and ensuring the efficient operation of our heat exchanger repair services. The ideal candidate will have a blend of technical knowledge, business acumen, and customer service expertise.
- Outside sales and service with daily travel
- HQ located in Massillon
- Salary - $60-70K base plus commission
Key Responsibilities: Customer Relationship Management - Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure continued satisfaction and repeat business.
- Address and resolve customer complaints and warranty issues promptly and professionally.
Sales and Business Development - Identify and pursue new business opportunities through existing customer networks, industry contacts, and cold calling.
- Manage and track all incoming Requests for Quotation (RFQs), from initial inquiry through final quote submission.
- Open and maintain accurate job files with complete customer information.
- Ensure acceptable profit margins are achieved and maintained across all sales and service transactions.
Operational Oversight - Oversee Heat Exchanger Repair inside sales activities and provide guidance as needed.
- Review and approve all in-house job quotes and outbound purchase orders related to heat exchangers.
- Support and advise on labor needs within the Heat Exchanger Repair Shop to ensure optimal staffing.
Cross-Functional Coordination - Serve as a liaison between the sales team, repair plant, and engineering department to facilitate smooth communication and job execution.
- Coordinate with logistics to assist in the pick-up and delivery of customer repair units when required.
Vendor Management - Develop and maintain relationships with both new and existing heat exchanger vendors.
- Evaluate vendor performance and ensure alignment with company quality and pricing standards.
Qualifications: - Proven experience in sales, service, or operations management within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
- Knowledge of heat exchanger systems and repair processes is highly preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
