JOB TITLE: Sales and Marketing Director Department: Administration

Position hours: Full time - 37.5 hours/ with occasional evenings and weekend events and appointments
POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for supporting and directing the Sales and Marketing team in achieving the Friends House Retirement Community 's occupancy and sales goals. Directing the Sales and Marketing team in managing the community's sales and marketing database, maintaining appropriate and current sales collateral, coordinating and obtaining all required move-in paperwork for the residents' file. Participates and contributes to the marketing campaign associated with the expansion.

QUALIFICATIONS: Education, Training, Experience, and Abilities
Bachelor's degree preferred or 3 + years CCRC/Life plan sales experience
Sales skills required.
Experience working in CCRC/life plan setting preferred.
Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
Ability to facilitate small group presentations
Competent in organizational, time management skills
Demonstrates good judgement, problem solving and decision-making skills.
Any satisfactory combination of education, training, experience, or abilities in a related field.
Must be able to accomplish all responsibilities without supervision or other employee assistance after the training period is completed, and do so without injury to oneself or other individuals.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English as to be understood effectively by another individual.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds.
Demonstrates proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and other Friends House applications with the ability to learn new applications.
