Job Title: Sales and Marketing Data Analyst
Job Summary: The Sales and Marketing Data Analyst plays an essential role in analyzing valuable sales and marketing insights. You'll work on developing strategies that drive growth and enhance customer loyalty. This involves peeling back the layers of both quantitative and qualitative data to identify market and competitive trends, consistently recommending actionable steps to our product, sales, and marketing teams.
Key Responsibilities: - Build strong relationships and serve as a trusted advisor to product, marketing, sales, IT, and HR teams.
- Utilize both internal and external data sources to create targeted account plans for enhancing sales efforts.
- Develop ideal customer profiles and actionable playbooks to guide marketing campaigns effectively.
- Analyze product, competitive, channel, and customer dynamics to glean insights for improving business performance.
- Explore third-party data sources to enhance market analytics and identify prospects.
- Employ Business Intelligence (BI) tools for crafting dashboards that track performance metrics for campaigns and marketing initiatives.
- Leverage Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems to manage customer information for targeted outreach.
- Identify and suggest enhancements to improve customer data collection processes within the CRM.
- Communicate insights and recommendations clearly to various internal stakeholders.
- Support additional marketing and sales enablement initiatives as needed.
- Evaluate client feedback on products and services and suggest improvement areas.
- Engage in data governance efforts to ensure a robust data environment.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications: - Strong IT skills and experience with sales data, customer insights, CRM systems, and reporting.
- Proven analytical and technical problem-solving skills, with a readiness to learn new technologies.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional analytical capabilities with great attention to detail.
- Able to manage multiple tasks while adapting to change in a regulated environment.
Education and Experience: - Bachelor's degree required; concentrations in business, analytics, or related fields preferred. An MBA or master's degree is a plus.
- Over 5 years of experience in sales planning, forecasting, data analysis, or CRM.
Technical Skills: - Extensive experience with Microsoft Power BI or similar reporting tools.
- Proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
- Experience with Salesforce CRM is essential.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, particularly in report creation and data analysis.
- SQL proficiency is required.
Certifications: - Power BI Data Analyst certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
