SALES AND MARKETING COORDINATOR (SMC)

The SMC reports to the VP of Sales, Costa Brava Mediterranean Foods USA.

The SMC is a USA based remote position with the candidate selected having primary residency in the Southeastern U.S. with Georgia as the top priority since the direct manager resides in GA. Therefore, neighboring states will be considered but GA is preferred.

Position Overview:

As a Sales and Marketing Coordinator, SMC will hold a key position in driving new business growth across diverse channels, working closely with the VP of Sales. Your responsibilities will extend to providing vital support to brokers, managing their marketing needs, and ensuring seamless coordination between them, external graphic designers, and the central marketing team at headquarters. This role presents a unique opportunity for seasoned professionals to leverage their expertise in sales, marketing, and business development while contributing to the strategic direction of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Development:

a. Collaborate closely with the VP of Sales to strategize and pursue lucrative new business opportunities across diverse channels.

b. Conduct comprehensive market research to identify prospective clients and discern market trends, providing insightful analysis to guide strategic decision-making.

c. Spearhead the development of compelling sales presentations, proposals and collateral materials, ensuring they resonate with target audiences and drive engagement.

d. Lead the sales team in crafting tailored strategies to penetrate specific market segments, meticulously tracking sales activities and customer interactions to optimize performance.

2. Broker Relations Management:

a. Serve as the primary liaison for brokers, offering proactive assistance and addressing inquiries promptly to enhance their overall experience.

b. Facilitate in-depth discussions with brokers to ascertain their unique marketing requirements, subsequently collaborating with graphic designers to create impactful marketing materials, including brochures, flyers and presentations.

c. Provide hands-on support to brokers in executing effective marketing campaigns and promotions, offering strategic guidance to maximize impact and ROI.

3. Strategic Marketing Coordination:

a. Act as a strategic bridge between brokers and the central marketing team at headquarters, fostering seamless communication and alignment to ensure cohesive execution of marketing initiatives.

b. Take the lead in coordinating high-profile marketing events, trade shows, and promotional activities, leveraging strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure flawless execution.

c. Utilize data-driven insights to monitor and evaluate the performance of marketing campaigns, proactively identifying areas for optimization and driving continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

- Previous experience in sales, marketing, or customer service is preferred.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills. English required; Spanish a plus.

- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
