Title: SALES and MARKETING COORDINATOR
Create engaging, trend-aware content, with a strong emphasis on video, to support client social media strategies across various platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook. Generate leads and sell memberships and training packages. Emphasize curating a positive customer experience to promote retention and referrals. Support ongoing operational functions as assigned.
Sales and Marketing Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute day-to-day social media content strategies, including planning, shooting, editing, and publishing engaging posts, with a significant focus on short-form video (TikToks, Reels, Stories)
- Interact with existing and prospective customers online, on the phone and in-person to generate leads and drive revenue growth
- Sell memberships and personal training packages by articulating the value of our offerings and being adept at removing obstacles to making a sale
- Ensure customer satisfaction at every opportunity to drive growth by making existing customers raving fans and eager to generate leads for us
Additional Operational Responsibilities:
- Review club and personal training surveys, follow up with members and clients, and propose and/or implement improvements as required
- Make independent decisions related to customer service
- Collect outstanding dues
- Ensure facility and equipment operational and organizational and cleanliness standards are consistently met or exceeded
- Enforce club policies and procedures
- Support all other duties and initiatives as assigned
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in each of the following areas, which can be concurrent: sales, social media marketing and customer service
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Possess a can-do attitude, recognizing that working for a small business means wearing many hats, taking initiative, and being flexible to make things happen
- Ability to recognize areas of improvement and propose or make changes where applicable using sound judgement
- Have a passion for fitness
- Be professional, punctual, reliable and organized and have ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Demonstrate trustworthiness and ability to handle confidential information
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy as this position will develop and publish online content, physical marketing materials, communicate with customers, create new and alter existing accounts
- Ability to work harmoniously with co-workers, clients and the general public; must have above-average soft skills
- College Degree preferred
- Ability to work a 5-day, 40-hour workweek. Schedules will fall during staffed hours, which are: Mon-Thur (8:30am-7pm), Fri (8:30am-6pm) and 1-2 Saturday mornings/month (8:30am-noon).
