Position Overview:
The Sales and Marketing Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting sales and marketing initiatives. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. The ideal candidate will be proficient in computer systems, possess general marketing knowledge, and demonstrate the ability to uphold company values while working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Marketing Support:
Prepare paper and electronic folders for customers and the quoting department.
Track sales performance for each salesperson for KPI meetings.
Enter opportunities and customer information into the Seradex system.
Develop and manage social media content, ensuring regular posts to promote company updates.
Assist sales staff by scheduling customer meetings, sales meetings, and supplier visits.
Support marketing efforts by coordinating literature design and website updates.
Estimating Support:
Identify project opportunities best suited for the client company.
Review bid bonds and pre-approvals as required.
Track addendums, plan holders lists, sales tax rates, and schedules.
Send out quotes and follow up with sales staff within one week.
Monitor and report the total value of weekly bids for KPI meetings.
Collaborate with suppliers and installers to ensure complete and accurate quotes.
Administrative and Organizational Duties:
Manage the bidding schedule, track bid results, and maintain records of awarded projects.
Organize project pictures, blueprints, specifications, and addendums in the shared file system.
Enter information for new customers and assist in keeping the showroom organized.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Training and Safety:
Document and teach correct procedures to ensure flexibility for task coverage.
Schedule regular training sessions to enhance system proficiency.
Follow and promote safe working practices at all times.
Qualifications:
Strong computer skills, including ERP systems.
Knowledge of marketing principles and social media management.
Familiarity with construction documents and the bidding process.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
Ability to manage deadlines and work efficiently under pressure.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
