Bringing Home the Dough

The Sales Analyst IV- Retail Sales is responsible for analyzing and interpreting retail sales data to support National Account customers. This role involves direct customer interaction and cross-functional collaboration to ensure timely, accurate communication and execution of tasks. Key responsibilities include developing sales forecasts, tracking item performance, and providing actionable insights and recommendations to the account team to drive business growth.


Rising to the Challenge: Position Responsibilities

  • Gather, consolidate and analyze sales reports to effectively monitor company sales with national customers
  • Responsible for communicating relevant issues to Flowers' & customer account teams
  • Report identified market trends and demand performance
  • Analyze reporting to manage sales projections, adjust forecasts and improve product availability
  • Responsible for gathering, consolidating and organizing data into meaningful report formats
  • Assist national accounts buyer and category advisor with modular analysis
  • Prepares new item financial scorecards to measure new items performance
  • Responsible for any ad hoc and special reporting needs of the department
  • Generates Line Overview reports to identify item trait concerns, zero sales, and sell-through
  • Establish and maintains sound business relationships
  • Assist in creation & delivery of effective sales presentations
  • Manages communication flow and issue resolution with customer and internal departments (DSD Execution, Business Units, Supply chain, and customer service)
  • Maintains cleanliness of work area
  • Performs other duties as directed by supervision
  • Practices and complies with all Company policies and procedures (including EEO, Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes Oxley, etc.)
  • Perform other duties deemed by management to be an integral part of the job, including but not limited to fulfillment of work schedules, adherence to attendance policies, and practicing and complying with all Company operating rules, policies and procedures

Knead to Know: Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years' Sales Analyst experience preferably in a CPG environment
  • 3+ years' experience developing insights using syndicated data (Scitilla and/or Circana experience preferred)

  • B.S. in Business or equivalent experience
