A respected and well-supported ag retail organization is seeking a Sales Agronomist to serve growers in the Eastern Nebraska region. This role offers the opportunity to build long-term relationships with producers while delivering full-acre solutions that drive yield and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:Develop and manage tailored crop plans including seed, fertilizer, and crop protection strategies
Serve as a trusted advisor to growers by delivering timely agronomic insights and recommendations
Position proprietary and value-added products within comprehensive crop management programs
Introduce financing options when applicable to support grower success
Maintain organized records and uphold confidentiality with customer information
Ensure daily activities are carried out safely and effectively
Qualifications:Minimum of 2 years' experience in agronomy sales or crop advising
Strong working knowledge of regional cropping systems and input products
Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory
Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
