Sales Administrator - Government & Commercial Division
The Sales Administrator supports the sales team by handling a variety of administrative and clerical tasks to ensure smooth daily operations. This role involves managing schedules, processing orders, maintaining records, and responding to customer and vendor inquiries. It requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. The Sales Administrator plays a key role in enhancing sales efficiency, improving customer satisfaction, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet company goals.
Responsibilities
Administrative Support:
Manage sales team schedules, maintain organized filing systems, and provide day-to-day clerical support.
Customer Service:
Respond to customer inquiries and complaints via phone, email, or in-person, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
Order Processing & Data Entry:
Process customer orders, generate quotes and RMAs, create work orders for outside processing, and ensure accurate data entry using the sales database and EPDS.
Sales Coordination:
Assist the sales team in achieving monthly and annual targets by facilitating smooth sales operations and interdepartmental collaboration.
Vendor & Customer Communication:
Follow up with vendors on order status and delivery timelines; handle product inquiries, certifications, and discrepancy resolution.
Inventory & Materials Management:
Monitor inventory levels for sales materials and office supplies to ensure timely replenishment.
ERP & Software Proficiency:
Utilize Microsoft Office and ERP systems to support administrative and sales functions.
