Volt is immediately hiring for a
Sales Administrator in Compton, California.
As a
Sales Administrator, you will
- Support the sales team by managing schedules, assisting with order processing, and handling administrative tasks.
- Communicate with customers and vendors to respond to inquiries, order updates, and support requests via phone and email.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including quotes, sales orders, customer records, and RMAs.
- Source products, generate quotes, and process orders using EPDS and ERP systems.
- Follow up with vendors to ensure on-time deliveries and resolve discrepancies.
- Collaborate across departments to support a smooth sales operation and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Create work orders for external processes such as plating or refinishing of materials.
This is a
Temp-to-Hire opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a sales support, administrative, or customer service role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Ability to type 60-80 WPM and manage data entry tasks accurately.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (training provided if needed).
- Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Experience in the fastener or manufacturing industry is a plus but not required.
- A strong customer-service mindset and a proactive, team-oriented approach.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 1st shift (8:00?am - 5:00?pm)
Pay Rate: $20.00 - 22.00 per hour Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
