Job Summary:

The Sales Administration Assistant supports District Sales Managers of GDM's Mustang Seeds brand and serves as a key point of contact for customers and dealers, handling inquiries related to products, orders, and deliveries.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Efficient handling of sales orders to include processing and following sales orders through the system to ensure accuracy and delivery of products.
  • Work with Sales Administration Team to ensure data accuracy in orders and invoices.
  • Work with customers to obtain missing information or answer questions.
  • Work with the sales administration team to maintain and update sales and customer records in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with the logistics and operation departments to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Compile and analyze sales, inventory and accounts receivable reports requested from the Sales Administration Department and submit them to the appropriate individuals by the set deadline.
  • Communicate feedback from customers to the department manager or necessary parties.
  • Stay up to date with new products, features and programs.
  • Field phone calls and assist District Sales Managers with customer needs while providing excellent customer service.
  • Proactively communicate with DSM's to identify needs.
  • Submit requested sales and royalty reports in a timely fashion assuring accuracy of information.
  • Office administrative duties will be assigned based on the needs of each location.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • The ability to listen actively, provide feedback, and use verbal cues to make customers feel heard.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective planning and priority setting. Ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment with associates.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience and understanding of customer service, sales administration and/or ag business is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of S4 and SeedWare is preferred.

  • None
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
