Position Summary:

The Sales Account Manager - West Coast is responsible for driving sales growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities in the oil & gas, power generation, and industrial sectors. This role focuses on developing customer strategies, managing key accounts, and executing regional sales plans. The ideal candidate understands customer buying behavior, sector trends, and how the company's solutions meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute customer-focused sales strategies.

  • Build and manage relationships at all levels of client organizations.

  • Meet or exceed sales targets through effective territory management.

  • Identify and close new business opportunities.

  • Monitor competitive activity and adjust strategies accordingly.

  • Maintain accurate data in CRM (pipeline, forecasts, activities).

  • Collaborate with internal teams to align delivery with client needs.

Performance Expectations:

  • Achieve sales targets of $2M-$35M annually.

  • Meet metrics around margins, customer growth, CRM accuracy, and forecasting.

  • Execute a sales plan aligned with regional leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Proven success in industrial B2B sales and business development.

  • Skilled in sales strategy, negotiation, CRM, and customer engagement.

  • Strong interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills.

  • Strategic thinker with operational alignment experience.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience.

  • 2+ years in industrial sales.

  • Excellent time management and self-motivation.

  • Technical understanding of customer requirements and solutions.

Additional Requirements:

  • Travel required.

  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
