Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Sales Account Manager to join our growing team. This person will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, helping them identify and purchase drivetrain components that match their needs. The ideal candidate has a background in automotive parts sales, excellent communication skills, and a passion for 4x4 or performance vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with customers via phone, email, and in-person to understand their needs and recommend suitable drivetrain products
- Provide technical guidance on gear ratios, axles, lockers, and other components
- Process quotes and sales orders using internal systems
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ECGS product offerings and industry trends
- Build strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business
- Work with warehouse and production teams to ensure order accuracy and timely delivery
Qualifications:
- Have a great understanding of the sales process
- Ability to maintain a highly motivated work ethic, focusing on customers and sales objectives
- Proficient communicator with outstanding time-management skills, strong sense of urgency and natural ability to prioritize.
- Take personal responsibility for the quality and timeliness of work and strives to exceed requirements
- 2+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the automotive or off-road industry
- Strong knowledge of drivetrain components and off-road vehicle systems
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in order entry systems or CRM software a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school background preferred
