The Opportunity
We're looking for a high-energy Account Executive to join our sales team and own the full sales funnel-from sourcing and qualifying leads to closing new clients. Your primary responsibilities will involve evaluating inbound leads, identifying new business opportunities through innovative outreach, and establishing meaningful connections with decision-makers. Key Responsibilities
- Lead Qualification: Assess and qualify inbound leads, ensuring they align with OPTYO's offerings to maximize conversion potential.
- Innovative Outreach: Employ creative outreach techniques to discover and introduce new business opportunities, expanding our market presence.
- Quota Achievement: Drive your success by achieving quarterly sales quotas through dedication, proactive growth, and a willingness to implement feedback.
- CRM Management: Accurately document all interactions and progress within OPTYO's CRM system, ensuring a transparent and organized sales process.
- Tailored Research: Conduct in-depth research on potential leads to customized outreach efforts based on their unique needs and challenges.
- Product Knowledge: Develop a comprehensive understanding of OPTYO's products and services, as well as the competitive landscape to effectively position our solutions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the business development team to identify target accounts and implement account-based marketing strategies.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads, consistently meeting or exceeding outbound activity and lead generation targets.
- Cross-Departmental Coordination: Collaborate with marketing and C-suite teams to align messaging and strategic goals across the organization.
- Feedback Loop: Provide valuable insights to the marketing team to refine messaging and targeting strategies based on client interactions.
- Professional Representation: Uphold a high level of professionalism, embodying the OPTYO brand in all interactions.
Requirements
- A BA/BS in Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in business development or sales.
- Proficiency in CRM software and outreach tools to effectively manage leads and track performance.
- Experience with consultative, value-based selling techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and a persistent, goal-oriented mindset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging a diverse audience.
- Knowledge of business development, digital marketing strategies, and brand expansion principles.
- Ability to work collaboratively and foster a positive team culture.
- Familiarity with the sports and fitness industry and/or eCommerce brands is preferred.
