The Sales Account Executive plays a vital role in surpassing sales objectives within their territory by promoting and selling outdoor advertising to qualified advertisers. An Account Executive (AE) is expected to harness professional sales techniques and foster long-term advertising relationships that fuel Lamar's advertising growth.

Education and Experience Requirements: - Current and valid Driver's License required.
- College Degree preferred.
- Previous experience in Outdoor Advertising sales preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with CRM systems is advantageous.
A Day in the Life: Regular responsibilities include:
- Meeting and exceeding sales targets, while monitoring personal sales data and reports.
- Targeting and visiting businesses in your area as well as established clients of Lamar and competitors.
- Maintaining an understanding of local and national competition.
- Clustering accounts for efficient servicing.
- Identifying growth areas and initiating new accounts.
- Utilizing Lamar tools to locate prospects, follow up on leads, and prepare compelling proposals and presentations.
- Developing presentation skills and product knowledge regularly.
- Actively participating in sales meetings and trade shows.
- Managing administrative duties like sales planning, client follow-ups, and record-keeping.
Physical Demands and Work Environment: - The work environment combines office tasks with fieldwork for sales calls and account servicing.
- Physical demands include light lifting, seeing (reading, color distinction, acuity), sitting less than 50% of the time, standing, talking, and walking.
- Nights away from home traveling are less than 10%.
