We are seeking to recruit a Salaried GP to work in a very friendly practice of 12,000 patients. This vacancy is for a part-time position (2 days per week).
We are located in a modern purpose-built medical centre with excellent facilities. Stranraer is a beautiful coastal town and is a superb location for all outdoor activities. Stranraer is only 6 miles from the local ferry port to Ireland.
Our team consists of 2 GP Partners, Salaried GPs, Locum GPs, highly skilled Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Specialist Physiotherapist, Nurse Practitioners, Practice Nurses, and a Health Care Assistant. We have a Pharmacy Support Team, Paramedic Support, MSK Service, and a Mental Health Liaison Nurse attached to the practice. We have no Out of Hours responsibility, but local opportunities exist.
We have an experienced and supportive reception team, using EMIS PCS and DOCMAN IT systems.
A Golden Hello payment is also available for the successful candidate.
Salary: £12.5k per session
