Job Overview

The SailPoint Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the enterprise identity governance solutions using SailPoint's IdentityIQ platform. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to understand their requirements, developing comprehensive identity and access management (IAM) strategies, and ensuring the security and compliance of the organization's identity management systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Architecture: Develop and document architectural solutions for SailPoint IdentityIQ implementations, including system integration, workflow design, and custom connector development.
  • Strong skill in identity and access management projects from initial technical design to production delivery, implementing features such as SSO integration, Privileged Access Management, access certification, identity and account provisioning, custom REST, SCIM, Plugin development and JDBC integrations, etc.
  • Built custom IdM solutions utilizing a wide range of technologies such as Java, XML, RESTful web services, Plugin development, various DB servers, various JEE app servers, various LDAP directory servers, etc.
  • Perform "health checks" (detailed system architecture, configuration, and implementation analysis) to help customers maintain successful IdM programs.
  • Implementation and Configuration: Install, configure, and customize SailPoint IdentityIQ components to meet the organization's needs, including developing and deploying workflows, policies, and rules.
  • Project Management: Lead IAM projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project plans, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure identity management solutions comply with relevant security standards, regulations, and best practices, including SOX, GDPR, and HIPAA.
  • Troubleshooting and Support: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for SailPoint IdentityIQ solutions, including troubleshooting issues, applying patches, and upgrading systems as needed.
  • Training and Documentation: Develop and deliver training materials for end-users and administrators and maintain comprehensive documentation for all IAM processes and systems.
