The Intacct Implementation Consultant is responsible for design, configuration, and building our software applications to JMT's nonprofit organization clients. If you are a self-starter, comfortable working with senior and middle-management client staff, making recommendations and holding client accountability, this is the position for you.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Establishing ERP system requirements via business process analysis and consultation.
- Working with clients, the ability to design system specifications and build systems including configuration of software, report builds, workflows, allocations, and minor customizations.
- Evaluate clients' needs and desired workflows to determine most effective ways to configure the application.
- Working with clients directly to validate implemented design.
- Oversee project testing and user acceptance, including creation and customization of test plans.
- Building tools, templates, and shortcuts to make implementations more efficient.
- Manage multiple assignments, determine, and organize priorities, and work independently with minimal supervision/direction.
- Troubleshoot issues and communicate solutions to non-technical clients.
- Exercise sound judgment to independently define, investigate and resolve problems/conflicts.
- Develop ongoing rapport with client project teams.
- Successfully guide clients through complex multi-month implementation projects
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting/Finance, information technology, or computer science
- 5+ years of hands-on, walk-in knowledge of ERP systems required.
- Accounting background is a requirement, experience with Nonprofit Accounting a definite plus
- Experience with Sage Intacct as well as exposure to other financial/accounting software
- 3+ years of consulting in technology
- Strong analytical and data gathering skills.
- A background in business administration, project management, or a related field will be advantageous.
