Key Responsibilities - Risk Assessment & Compliance: Lead comprehensive risk assessment workshops for new and enhanced products, ensuring adherence to management-of-change protocols.
- Safety Requirements: Define and meticulously document functional safety requirements for autonomous products, integrating them into detailed validation checklists.
- Control Implementation: Identify and execute essential safety controls to minimize risks and maintain strict compliance with industry norms.
- Safety Audits: Conduct regular audits of automation products to confirm compliance with international safety regulations.
- Continuous Improvement: Propose and implement enhancements to the company's safety management system, including change management processes.
- Incident Investigation: Lead the investigation of safety-related incidents, ensuring that lessons learned are effectively integrated into functional safety validation.
- Corrective Actions: Oversee the implementation of safety bulletins and confirm that corrective measures from risk assessments and incident investigations are thoroughly executed.
Qualifications & Experience - Extensive experience in functional safety, risk assessments, and compliance, particularly within the automation or autonomous sector.
- Proficient in facilitating risk assessments within technical environments.
- Solid understanding of international safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated capability to audit safety-critical products and promote improvements in safety management systems.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.
