Responsibilities

Our Life Safety and Security engineering team is central to our business. Multi-skilled across various technologies and products, our engineers have extensive knowledge built over many years. Customer service is a priority, and our engineers take pride in delivering top-quality work.

This role includes mentored training and development, supporting individual growth and future progression.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, commission, and service a wide range of field equipment including fire and intruder alarm systems, CCTV, access control, audio visual, and public address systems.
  • Perform retrofit upgrades and extensions as part of remedial works.
  • Deliver high levels of customer service.
  • Interpret site plans and survey documentation for installations.
  • Respond to reactive call-outs aiming for first-time fixes.
  • Provide on-site technical support during reactive and planned visits.
  • Complete documentation following company standards.
  • Adhere to strict health and safety guidelines.
  • Participate in a 24/7 on-call rota.
  • Advise customers on latest products and services to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications

Required knowledge, skills, and experience include:

  • Experience: Ability to work independently and in teams, strong communication and organizational skills, a full UK driving license, and DBS clearance for public sector work.
  • Skills: Good people management, technical expertise, administrative skills, commercial awareness, customer service orientation, and industry knowledge (e.g., Bosch, Hikvision, Gallagher). Proven Gallagher access control skills are preferred.
  • Behaviours: Can-do attitude, empathy, supportiveness, and focus on best practices.
