Key Responsibilities

The Safety & Reliability Engineer ensures that Safran Landing Systems products (structures, extension/retraction systems, hydraulics, electrical harnesses) meet safety and reliability standards. Responsibilities include:

  • Developing Safety & Reliability plans
  • Performing analyses and documentation such as FHA, CCA, PSSA, SSA, FMEA, and FTA
  • Collaborating with Systems Architects and design teams
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Knowledge of landing gear systems, mechanical engineering, hydraulics, and electrical systems
  • Understanding of airworthiness requirements and certification processes
  • Familiarity with systems engineering principles, ARP4754, ARP4761
  • Experience with requirements management tools like DOORS
  • Strong technical writing and communication skills
