Job Summary:

The Safety Manager is responsible for implementing and overseeing safety programs to ensure a safe working environment on all construction sites. This role includes conducting site inspections, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing safety training to employees and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safety Program Implementation:


    • Enforce safety policies and procedures to comply with OSHA and other regulations.
    • Update safety programs as needed to enhance safety performance.
  • Training and Education:


    • Conduct safety orientation and training sessions.
    • Maintain and distribute safety training materials.
  • Site Inspections:


    • Perform regular safety inspections and audits.
    • Identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Incident Management:


    • Investigate accidents and near-misses.
    • Prepare incident reports and recommend preventive measures.
  • Regulatory Compliance:


    • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local safety regulations.
    • Stay updated on changes to safety laws and standards.
  • Risk Management:


    • Assess and mitigate potential safety risks.
    • Work with project teams to promote a culture of safety.
