Graham Personnel Services is seeking a Safety Coordinator for a manufacturing company in Greensboro.
Contract opportunity for 6-8 months
$30/hr
This role is responsible for promoting a safe workplace by developing, implementing, and monitoring safety programs, conducting training, and ensuring compliance with all OSHA regulations and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enforce health and safety policies and procedures
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits
- Investigate accidents and incidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions
- Maintain safety records and documentation
- Facilitate safety meetings and trainings
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with management and employees to maintain a safe working environment
- Assist with workers' comp claims and return-to-work programs
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of safety experience in a manufacturing setting
- Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and industrial safety regulations
- Excellent communication, training, and problem-solving skills
- Certification in safety (OSHA 30, CSP, or similar) preferred
- Ability to analyze data and create safety improvement plans
