Volt is immediately hiring a Safety & Reliability Engineer Burbank, CA.
As a Safety and Reliability Engineer you will be responsible for performing safety, reliability, and maintainability analysis on new product designs to ensure safety and reliability objectives are met.
  • Generate system safety requirements.
  • Perform safety analysis for brake control systems per the industry standards and guidelines
  • Perform reliability analysis of electronic, electro-mechanical, and mechanical components at assembly and piece part level
  • Present reliability, safety, and maintainability analysis results in design reviews. ( i.e. PDR and CDR)
  • Perform Failure Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analysis at component and functional level.

This is a full time, direct hire position
The ideal candidate will have the following:
  • Relevant experience in Safety and Reliability Engineering
  • Experience in products development for aerospace industry
  • Knowledge of digital and analog electronic circuit analysis.
  • Knowledge of embedded systems safety analysis.
  • Ability to perform technical writing assignments, generate Safety, Reliability, and Maintainability analysis documents.
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering
  • Experience in Safety, Reliability and Maintainability Analysis of Commercial and Military aircraft systems and components.


Salary: $120K - $150K per year plus Bonus
Salary range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
