We are seeking an experienced and results-driven SAP S/4HANA Program Director to lead the end-to-end delivery of our enterprise-wide digital transformation. This role is responsible for driving the successful implementation of SAP S/4HANA across multiple business functions, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, business process harmonization, and organizational readiness.
The ideal candidate is a proven leader with deep SAP program experience, excellent stakeholder management skills, and a strong understanding of both IT and business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Program Leadership:
- Own the overall delivery of the SAP S/4HANA transformation program, including scope, budget, timeline, risk, and quality management.
- Strategic Alignment:
- Partner with executive leadership and business units to align the program with enterprise goals, ensuring value realization and ROI.
- Governance & Steering Committee Management:
- Establish and lead effective governance structures, including executive steering committees and program management offices (PMOs).
- Team Leadership:
- Build and manage cross-functional teams including system integrators, internal IT, business SMEs, process owners, change managers, and external consultants.
- SAP Activate Methodology:
- Drive the program through all phases (Discover, Prepare, Explore, Realize, Deploy, Run) leveraging SAP Activate and best practices.
- Risk & Issue Management:
- Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks while ensuring transparent escalation and resolution of issues.
- Communication & Reporting:
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on program status, milestones, risks, and dependencies.
- Change Management & Training Oversight:
- Collaborate with the Change Management and Enablement leads to ensure successful user adoption and training execution.
- Cutover & Go-Live Planning:
- Oversee final readiness activities, cutover planning, and hypercare support.
Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in managing large-scale SAP programs, including at least three full-cycle S/4HANA transformation.
- Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA core modules (Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, etc.) and integration points.
- Proven ability to manage multi-million dollar programs with global business process and organizational impact.
- Deep understanding of SAP Activate methodology and Best Practices.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with system integrators, advisory firms, and third-party vendors.
- Knowledge of cloud, on-premise, or hybrid SAP architectures.
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree or PMP/Prince2 certification is a plus.
