JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Finance Functional Consultant to support a public sector client in their migration from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA using the RISE with SAP Private Cloud option. The consultant will be responsible for providing functional expertise, configuring S/4HANA Finance modules, and ensuring a seamless transition while aligning with public sector financial regulations and compliance requirements.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and support the SAP S/4HANA Finance workstream for the RISE with SAP Private Cloud migration.

• Analyze existing SAP ECC financial processes and identify gaps for S/4HANA transformation.

• Configure and implement SAP S/4HANA Finance modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Controlling (CO), Funds Management (FM), and Public Sector-Specific Financials.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment with public sector financial reporting and compliance standards.

• Define and execute data migration strategy for financial data, ensuring integrity and accuracy.

• Support FIORI-based finance applications and help transition finance teams to the new user experience.

• Work with the SAP Basis, Security, and Technical teams to ensure proper integration with other SAP and non-SAP systems.

• Develop and execute test scripts, UAT, and training sessions for finance users.

• Provide post-go-live support and resolve issues related to SAP S/4HANA Finance functionalities.

Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

• 5+ years of SAP Finance consulting experience, with at least 2 full-cycle SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations, preferably in the public sector.

• Strong knowledge of SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA migration methodologies and best practices.

• Experience working with RISE with SAP Private Cloud and its implications for finance and operations.

• Deep understanding of public sector financial requirements, including Funds Management, Grants Management, and regulatory compliance.

• Hands-on experience with SAP FIORI Finance applications and Embedded Analytics.

• Experience with SAP Central Finance (CFIN) or Group Reporting a plus.

• Knowledge of SAP Activate methodology and public sector financial regulations.

• Ability to develop functional specifications for custom enhancements and integrations.

• Familiarity with integration to third-party tax, treasury, and reporting systems.

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Transit Industry experience strongly preferred.

MINIMUM EDUCATION:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:

• SAP S/4HANA Finance certification a plus.
