Job Description:

Analytical Mechanics Associates (AMA) is currently looking to hire a highly motivated individual to support the RSES (Research, Science, and Engineering Services) program management office located at the NASA Langley Research Center (LaRC). This individual will have two primary roles:
  • Support activities in the RSES travel office.
  • Work alongside AMA senior managers to help process RSES contract monthly reports.
Job Description

The successful candidate will be expected to carry out a range of duties, including, but not limited to the following.
  • Utilize the RSES travel system, Concur, to establish and manage traveler profiles.
  • Offer guidance and support to travelers in effectively using Concur for their travel needs.
  • Collaborate with key partners, such as World Travel Inc. and National Car Rental, to ensure seamless travel arrangements.
  • Review and update travel authorizations to ensure full compliance with Federal Travel Regulations (FTR).
  • Assist travelers in processing their expense reports to ensure accuracy and timely submission.
  • Prepare and submit expense reports on behalf of travelers, ensuring proper documentation & compliance.
  • Generate travel reports to monitor and track travel-related processes.
  • Achieve proficiency in utilizing the AMA Report Tool (ART) for efficient report generation and analysis.
  • Provide support to ensure all monthly reports are accurately submitted to the PMO.
  • Verify the proper formatting and completeness of all submitted reports to meet organizational standards.
  • Conduct comprehensive reviews of reports, ensuring clarity, logical flow, consistency, and adherence to proper formatting, grammar, punctuation, spelling, and capitalization.
Required Qualifications
  • High School Degree with some administrative experience.
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Consistently maintains a warm and inviting demeanor, fostering a positive and inclusive environment where individuals feel comfortable and valued.
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills, ensuring that all interactions are respectful, courteous, and engaging.
  • Ability to support multiple objectives at the same time and track own work and provide status updates to stakeholders
  • Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Good English grammar and spelling skills

The selected applicant will be subject to a security investigation and employment is based on the ability to attain Minimum Background Investigation clearance and physical and logical access to NASA LaRC.
