Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Roofing Sales Estimator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in roofing sales, possess an active and robust book of business, and be skilled in estimating and selling both commercial and residential roofing projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual looking to grow with a dynamic and reputable roofing company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate leads and close sales using an existing book of business and company-provided leads.
  • Conduct on-site evaluations to assess project scope, materials needed, and labor requirements.
  • Create detailed and accurate estimates and proposals for roofing projects (commercial & residential).
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Collaborate with project managers and operations teams to ensure seamless project hand-offs and execution.
  • Stay up to date on roofing materials, codes, and industry best practices.
  • Attend networking events, industry trade shows, and engage in local marketing to build brand awareness and grow your pipeline.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in roofing sales and estimating.
  • Must have an active book of business and strong industry connections.
  • Proven ability to close sales and meet/exceed revenue targets.
  • Knowledge of various roofing systems: asphalt shingles, TPO, EPDM, metal, modified bitumen, etc.
  • Proficient in estimation software and CRM tools.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with the ability to work independently.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred:

  • Experience with roofing CRM/estimation software.
  • Existing relationships with property managers, HOAs, commercial developers, or general contractors.
