OverviewPerform the following inspections as specified: annual inspections and service on all overhead rollup and sectional doors, AUAB rollup doors, sectional doors, and hangar door. Perform P.M. to ensure reliable and continuous safe operation of all doors. The maintenance work shall be IAW all commercial best practices and manufacturer's specifications, and US Air force specific PMTL guidance, to include; lubrication of gearboxes, clearing tracks, and chains, checking door curtain or panels for operational defects, worn or broken parts, weather seals, springs and cable tension, condition of spring and/or cables, limit switches, motor or gear box leaks, door alignment, binding of doors, door leveling, safety devices, safety edges, safety lens devices 'cat eyes', wiring of control circuits as well as motor circuits and switches, and that all doors are adjusted properly, as well as operating correctly.
Responsibilities- Shall perform daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual PM, adjustments, and repair, to include replacement of broken and unserviceable equipment and/or parts for all overhead rollup and sectional doors.
- Shall perform P.M. and repairs on equipment IAW P.M. schedules.
- Shall use the CE NexGen IT (Tririga) system or successor system(s) to record maintenance and repair activities.
- Responsible for following a comprehensive safety program in compliance with Vectrus, OSHA and United States Air Force (USAF) requirements.
- Responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, sanitary, healthy, presentable, professional atmosphere, free of dust, clutter and trash in all working facilities and areas.
- Responsible for following a comprehensive, flexible, and properly documented training program.
- Responsible for proper utilization and safeguarding of all government and contractor provided property (e.g., to include government facilities, equipment and tools).
- Responsible for precise execution of company time reporting procedures and accurate completion of timesheet.
- Perform other duties as assigned in accordance with contractual, functional, and mission requirements.
Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Journeyman card for respective trade provided through a recognized apprentice program or State certification, and/or
- current or expired state Contractor's license for the respective trade and/or evidence of passing the International Code Council (ICC) national journeyman or master certification exam (i.e., electrician, HVAC mechanic, plumber, etc.) and/or nationally recognized certification program and/or documented military journeyman level or higher experience in the respective trade, as identified on a DD214.
- Must have a current, valid U. S. Passport and Driver's License (able to drive manual transmission).
- Must have and maintain a valid U. S. SECRET Security Clearance prior to deployment.
- Must obtain an Air Force flight line driver's license upon deployment.
- Must pass a flight line access test and obtain flight line access badge upon deployment.
- Must pass employment and deployment qualification requirements that include psychological, medical, dental, drug testing and background checks.
- Candidates must successfully complete hands-on CBRN (chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear) defense training. Training includes the successful fit testing of DOD provided protective gear.
