As a Staff Nurse you will work closely with managers and colleagues to ensure that the service delivers high quality, evidence-based specialist palliative care to patients and their families, with care, compassion and dignity.
Suitable candidates will hold a first level registered general nurse qualification. A minimum of 12 months post registration experience is required along with experience of delivering holistic care within a similar setting and significant palliative care experience.
A recognised post-registration palliative care qualification is desirable.
The available role (details)
The role is available working 36 hours per week over 3 long days (07.30am - 20.30pm), on internal rotation. This includes 1 in 2 weekends and 12 weeks of nights a year. Night shift hours: 20:00pm - 08:00am.
