Who we are As a Robotics System Engineer at Symbotic, you will be responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting our advanced robotic material handling system. You will work with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and ensure best-in-class quality, safety, and performance.
What you'll do - Monitor the health of automated adapters, vertical lifts, and robotic vehicles
- Responsible for troubleshooting advanced system and operational issues
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to site teams and customers
- Document and report issues to engineering teams and work on solutions
- Train and assist operators on the overall system
- Participate in initiatives for continuous improvement and standardization
- Ensure safety commitments are met daily
What you'll need - Bachelor's degree in electrical or software engineering, computer science, or related discipline
- Minimum of 2 years' experience with automated systems
- Experience with PLC, robotics, and software languages
- Hands-on experience with assembling, operating, and troubleshooting robotics and electro-mechanical systems
- Ability to work under pressure and in a changing environment
Our Environment - Valid driver's license and ability to drive and/or fly to clients and customer locations
- Capable of working in varying temperatures and environmental conditions
- Ability to climb heights and work in restrictive areas
- Capable of lifting and moving up to 50 pounds
