Eligibility Requirements:To qualify for this internship, applicants must be full-time students at an accredited college or university and currently classified as a sophomore, junior, or senior. Also, accepting recent graduates (May 2024 or later).

JOB SUMMARY

Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Intern will partner and support the broader RPA development team with business automation deliverables. He or she will assist with administrative duties related to the intake, design, creation, development, and implementation of RPA systems and configured bots. The resource is required to assist in the requirements, analysis, and testing of automated processes to maximize efficiency for a business model.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Works closely with Process Engineers and Process Owners to support the creation of Process Design Documents (PDD) requirements.
  • Assists in the gathering and analysis of existing business and process details
  • Supports the RPA team through process observations and auditing activities
  • Analyze business processes alongside Process Engineers to suggest process improvements and develop RPA solutions around them
  • Learn exciting new technologies and how they integrate with existing automation products
  • Assists in the development project plans through-out project lifecycle; includes prioritization, risk mitigation and monitoring progress
  • Understand a business process from a workflow diagram and to conceptualize it as an automated solution
  • Assists in the delivery of process automations to drive successful adoption and increase consumption of the RPA products
  • Assists in the creation, documentation, and execution of test procedures and scenarios for integration and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

  • Cross-functional business and application knowledge

  • Understand and follow coding best practices, e.g., naming conventions, error handling, logging, commenting
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND/OR EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
  • Currently enrolled in bachelor's degree program with focus in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Management of Information Systems, Process Engineering, or another related field.
Preferred Experience:
  • Experience with business process documentation
  • Project and change management experience, preferably involving IT implementations and UAT management
  • Experience in project and team management from idea generation and chartering through implementation and post project evaluation
  • Experience in change management evaluation, planning and execution
  • Experience evaluating, developing, and implementing business process measurement systems and dashboards
