The Opportunity As our Senior Software Engineer- you will report to the Director of Vehicle Engineering. You will play a crucial role in the development of software solutions for our robotics systems. Your primary focus will be on using your knowledge of C to create efficient software applications On a given day, you may: Develop high-quality software applications using C . Implement software solutions that are scalable, reliable, and efficient. Troubleshoot and debug software issues and provide resolutions. Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards. Stay updated with the latest advancements in software engineering and contribute to continuous improvement efforts. Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate software with robotics systems. Requirements for the role Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer, with a focus on C development. Understanding of the software development process Experience with software development tools including source control (e.g. Git), and issue tracking systems (e.g. Jira) Programming skills in C/C , and scripting languages such as Matlab or Python Experience with software state-machine architecture and design, real-time operating systems, multi-threaded programming, and common software design patterns (including object-oriented programming) You must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.
