Pay: $20.60, the intern cannot work more than 30 hours per week.

Job Description

This is an internship position; this position holder will work alongside a qualified maintenance team member in order to become familiar with the various equipment and the individual will also gain exposure to the various machinery and maintenance skills involved in supporting a poultry production process. Our interns are expected to contribute to our success through innovative ideas and value creation.

Responsibilities:

Follows all company personnel safety, food safety, attendance, GMP policies

Responsible for assisting in troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Must have good verbal and written communication skills and be able to communicate with other Team Members, managers, vendors, and USDA personnel. Must be able to use math as needed to make work-related computations for machinery, fluid capacities, etc. Must be willing to lift 70 lbs. periodically throughout the shift on a daily basis and be willing to work on your feet for a period of 12 hours. Must be willing to complete all required training for the job.

Requirements: Applicant must be enrolled in an industrial maintenance educational program.
