Shift Availability for Registered Nurse Unit Manager position:

Full-Time Mon-Fri
Weekend and Holiday On call rotation responsibilities
Specialized LTC and Dementia Unit
$6,000 sign on BONUS

Responsibilities of Registered Nurse Unit Manager:

Supervise nursing personnel and ensure respective job duties are followed.
Responsible for the overall operation of assigned unit.
Assist DON in planning and directing day-to-day functions of the unit.
Monitor medication passes and treatment schedules.
Participate in facility surveys and quality assurance program.
Respond to all falls and changes in condition.
Communicate with physicians and resident families.
Provide direct nursing care as needed.

Requirements:

Qualifications for RN Unit Manager:

Current RN license in good standing required
2 years supervisory experience required
Dementia care experience required
Long-term care experience preferred
Excellent customer service and leadership skills
Strong computer skills
Detail-oriented and ability to prioritize
