This Nurse Unit Manager role in a Long Term Care facility oversees nursing care, staff supervision, and resident safety.
Provides quality, compassionate care promoting residents' dignity and rights. Supervises CNAs and staff, ensuring shift tasks are completed, and communicates effectively with residents, families, and team members. Ensures accurate documentation, medication administration, and adherence to safety and infection control protocols. Maintains a safe, comfortable environment while managing care plans and responding to resident needs. Requires RN or LPN licensure, a high school diploma or equivalent, CPR certification, and preferably one year of long-term care experience.
