This position supports the training of licensed and unlicensed staff in a Dedicated Training Unit, enhancing nursing education through collaboration and resources.
Coordinates orientation for new nursing staff, ensuring clinical competence. Assesses learning needs and partners with various stakeholders for tailored education. Develops orientation calendars and schedules classes. Monitors new employee progress and intervenes as needed. Collaborates with preceptors and unit directors to assign mentors. Requires a Bachelor s in nursing, 3 years of acute care experience, and Virginia RN licensure. Strong communication, project management, and training skills are essential. Full-time position with day/evening shifts and some weekend coverage.
