Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse - Telemetry to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telemetry nursing, providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment. This role involves monitoring patients' vital signs, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for caring for patients with cardiac conditions and other telemetry-related issues, ensuring adherence to established standards of care.

Responsibilities
Monitor and assess patients' vital signs and cardiac rhythms continuously.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Perform IV insertion and manage IV therapy for patients.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatment options.
Document all patient interactions, assessments, and interventions accurately in electronic health records.
Assist in trauma medicine situations as needed, providing immediate care to critically ill or injured patients.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care standards.
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety standards within the telemetry unit.

Requirements
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
Previous experience in telemetry nursing or critical care preferred.
Strong knowledge of geriatrics, trauma medicine, and pediatric care is a plus.
Proficiency in ICD-9 coding related to telemetry nursing is advantageous.
Ability to perform sutures as necessary for patient care.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to make sound clinical decisions under pressure.

Job Types: Travel nursing, Contract

Pay: $1,888.00 - $2,800.00 per week
