RN Supervisor

The Village at Penn State, located in State College, PA and one of the area's premiere senior living communities, has an exciting opportunity for a full-time RN Supervisor on overnights.

The RN Supervisor is responsible for the supervision and oversight of the quality nursing care provided in the 36-bed Atrium skilled health center. The RN Supervisor of each shift focuses on making sure the residents' needs are met and assists with the coordination of their activities of daily living as well as addressing family/social concerns that may pop up. RN Supervisors also complete necessary documentation and contribute to health status assessments and care plans and administer medications for the small nursing center during their shift time. Additionally, this individual would be performing skilled treatments and procedures, all while maintaining compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulatory standards.

Shift Available
Full-time overnights
12 hour shifts
6:30pm - 7:00am

Requirements
Minimum of a two-year Associates Degree in nursing
Two years of experience working as a registered nurse, as well as experience and awareness of the needs of geriatric residents.
Knowledge of Federal and State regulations, as well as OBRA laws.
Prior experience supervising staff is preferred.
Long-Term Care experience.
State of PA license as a Registered Nurse.
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license, maintain automobile insurance coverage and have access to an automobile
