Overview Provide wound treatment based on CWOCN guidelines. Assess patients for physician/staff consults. Order treatments based on approved CWOCN treatment protocols. Document in electronic medical record. Educate staff on appropriate care for follow through by nursing. Educate staff on skin care, staging and prevention. Complete education through nationally accredited certification program within one year of hire date. Qualifications Education: Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing with current Alabama licensure or multi-state license. Experience: Experience preferred; new graduates accepted.
