Status/Shift: Seasonal Full-Time Commitment, 3x 12s Day Shift (6:45a-7:15p) - 13 weeks (1 week orientation/12 weeks on the unit)
Increased base rate, completion bonus, and shift differentials.
Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurses (RN) play a pivotal role within Baylor Scott & White Round Rock Medical Center. The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurses (RN) at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center Round Rock care for both Intensive Care Unit (ICU) patients and Intermediate Care (IMC) patients on this 26-bed mixed acuity unit with 6 dedicated CVICU beds. Typical ratios consist of 1:1 for high acuity patients, 1:2 for general Intensive Care Unit (ICU) patients and 1:3 for Intermediate Care (IMC) patients. Our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) level patients consist of Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) and Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) patients. The ideal Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) would have at least one year of Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) experience, two years preferred.
Baylor Scott & White Round Rock hospital is equipped with 101 beds, a Level II Trauma Center, and Level IV Maternal Designation. This full-service hospital provides a wide network of medical expertise and resources and was as an enhanced ability to care for patients. Registered Nurse (RN) Requirements
Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program
Minimum one year of Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) experience, two years of Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) experience preferred.
License/Certification
RN - Registered Nurse
BLS - Basic Life Support (required within 30 days of hire)
