RN Registered Nurse

The Nurse in this role practices independently, providing routine and complex care while developing coping skills for clinical nursing contingencies. Responsibilities include meeting competencies, providing nursing care, administering medications, documenting patient information, and educating patients and families. Core competencies involve utilizing the nursing process, ensuring patient throughput and flow, managing unit operations, and maintaining safe practice and quality care. Technical competencies include clinical policies and standards, health information documentation, medical equipment, medical order processing, patient chart reading and interpretation, and patient safety. Job requirements include a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, 1 year of related nursing experience, BLS certification, RN license, completion of orientation and competency validations, and certifications in STABLE and NRP. The work schedule is 7PM - 7AM.
