RN Registered Nurse

Competent Nurse with $10K sign-on bonus. Works independently in cardiac care unit. Provides routine and complex care, manages contingencies, makes appropriate assignments. Focus on post-op cardiac patients, medical-surgical patients needing telemetry monitoring and critical cardiac drips. Responsibilities include nursing care, medication administration, patient education, and documentation. Must meet competencies in nursing process, patient throughput, unit operations, safe practice/quality care/regulations. Technical competencies in clinical policies, health information documentation, medical equipment, medical order processing, patient chart reading/interpretation, and patient safety. Requirements: BSN preferred, 1 year of related nursing specialty experience, BLS, RN license, ACLS, EKG, NIHSS certifications. Full-time position, night shift.
