RN Registered Nurse

The job is for a competent Nurse in a CVICU unit, providing routine and complex care for cardiovascular patients. Responsibilities include meeting competencies, utilizing the nursing process, addressing patient needs, administering medications, documenting care, and providing education. Core competencies involve utilizing the nursing process, managing patient flow, overseeing unit operations, ensuring safe practice and quality care, and complying with regulations. Technical competencies include following clinical policies, health information documentation, medical equipment use, medical order processing, patient chart reading, and patient safety. Requirements include a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, 1 year of related nursing experience, BLS, RN license, ACLS certification, and unit-specific certifications. The work schedule varies, and the position is per diem.
