Summary: Responsible for maintaining appropriate staffing on Nursing Units and supervising hospital activities in the absence of Administration and Nursing Director/Managers.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and guide units/departments, ensuring policy compliance and addressing staffing issues. Screen incoming patients for admission/transfer appropriateness. Act as hospital representative, investigating incidents and problem-solving. Facilitate emergency operations and perform clinical functions as needed. Manage staffing for shifts, utilizing a mix of staff to meet unit needs. Monitor competency checklists and provide input on staff performance. Requirements:
Associate's Degree in Nursing. RN License in state of employment or compact. BLS certification. Work Type: Full Time
