Description & Responsibilities of the Nurse Manager:
This is a full-time, 40 hours per week position Monday-Friday 8:00 am-4:30 pm. On-call rotation every 6 weeks.
Oversee performance management of staff on assigned floors, including coaching, disciplinary actions, and termination interviews and hiring new staff; oversee onboarding experience for new staff
Guides teams toward clinical, quality and operational excellence
Understands and embraces the Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement Process as the way to address operational challenges and concerns
Contribute to the formulation, review and amendment of operational policies and operational procedures in accordance with administrative organization of the facility
Contribute to Quality Assurance initiatives with responsibility as an active member in various committees; CQI, HIPPA, Interdisciplinary Policy and Procedure and Clinical Leadership
Will handle other responsibilities as part of the Nursing team on the assigned floors
Qualifications of the Nurse Manager:
Bachelors in Nursing and 5 years of healthcare leadership experience required
Previous experience working in a long-term care setting strongly preferred
RN license required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
