Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse for our Medical/Surgical unit. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes for patients. This role requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Duties
Assess and monitor patients' health status, including vital signs and symptoms.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health conditions, treatment options, and recovery processes.
Perform procedures such as catheter care, wound management, and IV therapy.
Document all patient interactions accurately in compliance with ICD-10 coding standards.
Participate in family planning discussions as needed, addressing concerns related to reproductive health.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, adhering to infection control guidelines.
Support the nursing team in urgent care situations, including triaging patients as necessary.

Qualifications
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
Experience in Medical-Surgical nursing preferred; familiarity with ICU or Level I Trauma Center environments is a plus.
Knowledge of geriatric care principles and pediatrics is beneficial.
Proficiency in catheter care techniques and other relevant nursing procedures.
Strong understanding of family planning practices is advantageous.
Excellent critical thinking skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Effective communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

Pay: $1,858.00 - $2,546.00 per week
