RN Med/Surg Telemetry

Position : Registered Nurse - MedSurg / Telemetry

Location : Rochester, NY 14626

Shift time : 12hr Night Shift

Duration : 13 week contract

Duties
Provide direct patient care in medical/surgical units
Perform diagnostic evaluations and assessments
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
Monitor and report changes in patient conditions
Assist in procedures such as gastric lavage and wound care
Utilize critical thinking skills in emergency room (ER) situations
Provide care in long-term care facilities, nursing homes, assisted living, and other healthcare settings
Knowledge of workers' compensation law for appropriate documentation

Skills
Proficiency in medical/surgical nursing practices
Experience in pediatric care, including toddler care
Familiarity with travel nursing practices
Strong understanding of OR protocols and procedures
Ability to adapt to different healthcare environments
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities

Pay: $2,500.00 - $2,600.00 per week
